Vera Warnsing - Germany
Already as a child from young age Vera Warnsing was influenced by photography. Born in 1987 in the western part of Germany she got to know the photo camera as a constant companion from her father and grandfather. The evenings were spent with the whole family watching endless slide-shows.
After having her own camera it became much more interesting and she learned to enjoy the slide shows and started to discover her grandfathers dia-archive from over 50 years.
Fascinated by the medium and its possibilities she started to work as a photo reporter for a local newspaper with the age of 17. But that was not the way of photography she wanted. After graduating from school in 2007 she applied at an Art Academy in the Netherlands and got accepted.
Since then she took part in several exhibitions and workshops. She was nominated for the Dutch Photo Award and showed her work in the Photo museum in Rotterdam. In 2009 she joined the European Exchange Academy near Berlin. She also gives media art workshops in primary schools and enjoys to share her knowledge with children.
Vera is now in her final year of study and starts working for her graduation show which will be in Summer 2011.

Sonja Wallace - USA
Sonja Wallace Maryland USA: In a blink of an eye we miss fleeting moments such as the movement of one’s hands, a slight shift in facial expression, or the motion of a baseball pitcher’s stance at the mound, or the movement of the Dancer, or in the strum of mandolin, or a pluck of a sitar string, or in the beat of a newly tuned tabla. I find pleasure in anticipating & capturing those peak moments and love to share them with the world. www.sonjawallacephotography.com

Zsuzsa Bakonyi - Hungary
Bakonyi Zsuzsa was born in 1984 Budapest, Hungary.
She studied economics at university. Right know she is working in communications. She took her photographic passion seriously from 2009 and since then has had several exhibitions in Budapest. She learnt photography on her own, guided for short periods by masters like a philosophy teacher, painter and poet friends, architecture, and a photographer in Tuscany. Her artistic vision was greatly influenced by the Intermedia Faculty at the Budapest Art University where she took a course.
Her activity is deeply connected to the many countries she stayed in, and to the cultures she got in touch with. Her artistic name pogacia refers to this mixed identity: it is a typical Hungarian cheese bread written with Italian ortography. She is in continuous search of her own identity and is trying to decipher identities in her art. She searches abstract beauty in every kind of material and tries to capture the essence of places and moments. She tries to mix melancholy with jokes, pointing out something new to the spectator.
